Q & A with Jude

Posted by: nicolewiggins on: March 22, 2011

So in an attempt to be an equal oppertunity parent I thought it would be fun to see how Jude answered the same questions I asked Annabel. Boy, was I wrong. It was not fun, but it is funny (now that is is over). So here are Jude’s answers (27 months old):

What’s your……
1. favorite color? Bean and yellwow
2. favorite restaurant? Um, ah, no
3. favorite thing to do? Something about Bubble Gubbies (it is so adorable when he say bubble guppies btw)
4. favorite book? (He answered me but I have no idea what he said)
5. favorite song? I know Jesus loves me, the bible telbs me so
6. favorite person? Aha bowl (annabel)
7. favorite food? olly- pop
8. favorite animal? I don’t want tooo
9. favorite thing about school? NOO!
10. favorite thing about God? he ran out of the room on that question. I may have to take a break
11. Who are your friends? Nooo, NO
12. What are you good at? Nooo
13. What are you afraid of? no (that one was quieter, notice the difference)
14. What do you want to be when you grow up and why? Nooooowaahh
15. How do you show your family that you love them? No
16. What are you thankful for? nooo

What do you like best about……
17. Daddy? no
18. Mom? Mhhm- mhmm (don’t know how to spell it, but another form of no with out words while shaking his head) followed by Mommy?! Haha, mommy (I could be convinced to develop a complex here)
19. Annabel? no
20. Yourself? nooooo
21. What do you want to do better this year? noooowahh (I really think he already has this one down)

So there you have it folks. 101 ways a two-year old can say NO!

Please don’t get the idea that Jude is a bad kid, he is not. He is such a sweetie most of the time. He is just a 2 year old so we are just in that stage of testing everything.

Since he did not really give you any information about himself here are a few facts about this stage of Jude’s life:
-He loves to sing, but he doesn’t want anyone else to do it.  So if you try to sing to him he will say “Top Singing!” He knows deep and wide, Jesus loves me and number 7 on the new Hillsong United Album (so cute to hear his soft little voice sing “ohuoh, Jesus”).

-He is also my little helper. He helps put his toys away and it is his job when we are straightening the house to take things to the trash and the sink. Sometimes he gets the two confused and I will find his sippy cups in the trash and who knows what in the sink. It is very cute. He pulls things out of the refrigerator when I need them, and sometimes when I don’t.

-He loves chocolate milk, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, loud trucks and hubcaps (weird right?).

-He plays prince charming with me when I pretend to be asleep (he comes and gives me a big kiss to wake me up). I doubt he will play that game as a teenager so I am holding on the this little treasure.

-He loves his crib and even though I know he can get out of it he doesn’t.  He is a good sleeper.  He still takes 2+ hour naps each day and goes to bed at 7:30 every night.

Overall as long as he doesn’t have a tooth coming in (btw he has so many teeth so I don’t see how any more could possibly fit into his mouth) he is the sweetest little guy ever! He makes my day, everyday.
