How awesome would it be if we (the American Church) got this excited about the Word of God. I love this! I know a lot of times I have said that if I had three things to bring to a desert island #1 would be my Bible. But what if the game was played a little different. What if you could only bring the three things you use the most? Would your Bible be one of them? Or even worse what if you were not allowed to have your Bible (exiled for faith or something)? I know it is a weird thought, but recently when thinking about John being exiled I have thought about what that would mean for myself. The only way I could live without the Word is if it was written on my heart. And the only way it can be written on my heart is if I have spent years and years allowing God to pour it into me. This is one of my goals, because honestly you never know what can happen.
