There is so much going on in my mind right now that I just don’t think I can make a clear concise blog post. So here are some random thoughts

- You know the story about Mary and Martha in the New Testament? Well, I am a Mary…all the way. I sometimes have a hard time focusing on the things I am supposed to be doing and I want to wiggle into David’s conversations. That sometimes can leave me feeling frustrated because I am at home all day and not fully in on ministry world. There are good things about both and I think maybe I am learning that I need to have a balance of both women to fulfill God’s desire for my life. I am still brewing on that one so I don’t know if it makes sense or if anyone else can relate.

-Pray for my Mother-In-Law. She is still struggling with her health and I know she would appreciate as many prayers as she can get. She is struggling with terrible head-aches as a result of some of her health issues. I know she is tired of something always being wrong (it has been over two-years since she found out she has a brain tumor and she has had about 7 surgeries in that time). I thank you for lifting her up!

- Secret Church. Anybody been to it? First Baptist Church here in Pensacola is having secret church with David Platt (via Satellite) on Good Friday. David and I want to go (if we can get childcare) but just wanted to know if anyone had been.

-I started running. Two ladies whose blogs I read are running and it is making me want to get off the couch. So, I have a plan to train for a 5K to start and then hopefully more. Only time will tell. So far I have completed 1 full week of training. Woohoo!

-I am totally being humbled by the Word of God and it is awesome and scary. I am in awe of God and at a place where I feel like I need to ask for mercy for myself everyday. It really is so incredible that such a Holy God loves us.

-Say “Yes” to VBS. Oh yeah, that’s right. I am gearing up for VBS. Why? Well, I am the VBS Director this year. WHAT? I don’t know who gave me that title, but they must be crazy While the title may sound important I really am just helping the ladies who really run the show. It is fun though and gives me an oppertunity to serve in ministry leadership which I LOVE.

-I am studying Beth Moore’s Bible study on Revelation right now. Let me just say it is life changing. If you get a chance to do the study I really encourage you to go for it. God is really using it to challenge and change me.

-We are going to Disney World in about three weeks! I can not wait. We haven’t been since Annabel was 7 months old and we LOVE Disney World so in our opinion it has been too long. My mom, grandma and aunt are going with us and helping make this little dream possible for us (so blessed to have such an amazing family)   It will be a great time and a much needed break!

-Last and most random. Anyone ever tried frozen Oreos? Well, you totally should. They are very yummy
